City Sport mini Promo Flat Caps and Catalog

A friend that owns a hat store (Hut Neubarth 1800, Augsburg) in Germany gave these to me.

Fantastic promo Caps Steve, also the Catalog, very very nice and absolutely rare.

By the way. I found two City Sport Flat Caps on my Fleamarket visit today. What a surprise [emoji16].
Both Caps like new and both Caps in the same style.
One darker Cap from sheerwool and the other Cap with Cashmere.

The Quality of City Sport is really good and has a long tradition. I am very pleased with it.

I have come across about 40 (57cm - 60cm) NOS Flat Caps from the DDR/GDR. Not sure if there would be any interest here. I could probably sell them from $35.00 - $45.00 range.

Manfred, Thanks! I have only 3 at the moment. I am not sure I will purchase all of them.

Ed, That would be my guess too. They are from the DDR / GDR which was the center of cap making up to WWII. I think first one I posted is probably from the 1950s. I am not sure if there are any caps on here that look like them.

Sterkowski Hats & Caps

Hi Guys, my Sterkowski order arrived! Three Caps inside, a Cotton Duckbill Cap, a Italian Leather Duckbill Cap in Black and a Vintage Cotton Biker Cap!
Today I would like to show you how the Caps look, and how the Caps looks on me, of course
The first Cap is a Cotton fabric Duckbill Cap. I dont know, is it my style or not but I was looking for a sportiv Cap and here it is.

The Cap is a bargain It cost 16,00 € and is well made, looks not cheap and has a nice Sterkowski Button on the side.
Definitely a Summer Cap, the Cotton is a bit stiff you feel it is brand new.
A good choice for that money.

The next Cap, the Italian , the Quality is awesome, round around perfekt made, really! The Cap is a bit thicker and it's better for cool days, maybe fall or Winter, for summer or sunshine it could be a bit to hot. A nice Detail you see on the left backside - nice - I like it! A pity, no Sterkowski Button for that splendid Cap.

One of my favorite Cap is the Vintage Biker Cap in dark green. It is really Light-weight you don't feel it on the head. Inside leather sweatband and Sterkowski lining and label.
The bill is thin and flexible and on the top with leather and on the underside made with cotton.
The fit and shape is great. Looks a bit like a Cap for a filmproduction.
The bill could have a bit more stiffness to shape it a bit but that is only my opinion - So how it looks is it ok for me but a bit more stiffness would be better. All in all a nice retro Cap definitely also for Summer, because the fabric is not thick.

I think all three caps suit you very well Manfred, but that "vintage biker" cap is really special. I might just have to get one for myself one of these days.

Biker cap is the best will have to get one for sure. I am not a duck bill cap wearer anymore but they look nice.

Ed, thank you too. The Duckbills are special in style and and my first step in this direction - I give you right with the Biker Cap. The style and shape is wonderful.
