Thanks, Che! It was partly your great videos that made me interested in caps! That is a fantastic fabric, and a great color hookup!

Today, shopping at Bloomingdales with the missus in my Simonds brown wool newsboy. Barry does solid work, and every cap is drop-dead comfortable.

Che, the new JC is killer! Not enough blue caps out there as far as I'm concerned. Rebecca is smiling like Mona Lisa.

Greg, solid Barry cap too. Easy to wear his anytime. Is yours black or brown?

Shout out to Keith too, wore one of yours today but too nasty out to snap a pix, just ****'n rain here.

P.S. I see we've got a spell check censor now. Rhymes with pee ;)

Ah, shopping with the missus at Bloomingdale's at Christmas. I used to drop off mine at the store and then scuttle 'round the corner to a very convenient Irish pub where I'd happily while away the hours. Precious memories.

If anyone has spring or summer caps, could you post them here? I'd like some ideas for caps from our talented makers!

I'm after a cap I can wear in the Oz summer , as an alternative to a Baseball cap . I have a Kangol 504 Ventair already (Synthetic materials ) , and 2 city sports with nice tweed and a button down hanna .... I like these hats but I want an all season alternative.

Looking a the Brixton Brood in chambray currently ..... Or maybe a Hepville denim ( etsy) if I can swing that much moola at a hat .

Any suggestions from the collective groupthink ? Thanks all : )

My most recent caps from Cordova were for the summer. I posted them a few pages back (one was plain black cotton, the other was plaid). Johnny did a special offer for unlined caps, so they should help to keep the head cool.

I got this one from one of the US makers here on the Lounge, the guy from Georgia, if I remember right (it's put away for the season along with all the summer caps):

Thanks for the kind comments on the blue Cordova cap as I have been putting it to good use
I don't have too many 8 panel caps compared to 8 point caps
Greg I have a 8 point in that same fabric Simonds made me a while back its a looker as your is I have to post up a pic of that one
I recently packed my summer caps away got a lot of them by Simonds & Johnny unlined & taped seams help in the warm weather
Blackthorn that's a good light weight cap you have there

Thanks Che - I'm well stocked for the winter, and am starting to think about summer caps. One of your videos had a summer cap in it!

Last summer was my first-ever hatted summer. I didn't even have any caps (other than BB's). So I'm not sure whether I want linings or not! I tend to sweat a lot, so I wouldn't want to soak through onto the outside of the cap! I'll look forward to your photos when you post them!

Good finds Pinesiw! The last one is really cool. It definately reminds me of an old work cap, but the fabric and the band set it a notch above.

Really not sure what kind of cap it is, but I did get it because it reminded me of an old work cap and it was only $1.50. But the fabric is a soft wool and satin lining
