Keith: Please make sure you keep posting pics of all the cool caps you find on this thread as reference for us. You have really helped to keep this thread very active, and to nake it an inspiration for cap lovers.

I agree 100%

A Borsalino. This one is a touch large for me - maybe a half a size or maybe even a whole size but even aside from that, the cut is a little larger and not as close to the head as English made caps I have. Has anyone else noticed this about Borsalino?

Very nice Caps Keith and 888.
Borsalino has his own style. I had several Borsalino Caps and I have sold all. Not the right shape for me!

Nice caps Keith & Jhe888. I've not tried Borsalino but I like that fuller look - on my big head some traditional English caps look a little too streamlined.

I agree with Richard - I like the fuller cut to that cap, jhe. Nice one! Any way to get a shot looking at you from the front?

Thanks for that - I really like it. And the color is terrific - much better than black/white, IMO. Goes great with the cardigan!

Here is a front on view.

I think, it's got close to perfect proportions for you. I don't find it a fraction of an inch to big. I think most of us are quite sensitive to things like crown-height and brim-width (fedoras) and crown-"fulliness" and bill-length (caps). It takes some time to get used to new dimensions, nevertheless these preferences do sometimes change.

I used to prefer a 2 3/4" brim on my fedoras, but now I feel most comfortable between 2 3/8" to 2 5/8". A small step for a non-hat-wearer, but a giant leap for a fedoramanic. Give it a fair try, and it may end up as the most loved cap in your collection ;)

This is the first time I've seen a salt & pepper cotton in a newsboy cap. I love it. Goes perfectly with my 1930's French atelier coat and work shirt! The cap has a very subtle windowpane.

That is a fantastic fabric Keith. Absolutely beautiful, and the cut of it works well for you.
