Borsalino Buntal. Modernish I'm guessing with the size being "small".

“Small” is Italian for 7 ⅛.
Is that Michael Corleone’s lid?Nothing to see here. Just another early 1960s black Borsalino Homburg. You can't stroll though Rome without tripping over these. View attachment 509243

It did come with a somewhat knackered box.

Hilarious!
Dang it. Was pulling for this one to be a go!This beauty finally arrived. 5 ⅝” open crown and a 2 ⅞” wide brim. The felt is very thin and shapes easily without steam. It fits pretty true to size, or maybe a bit small. The slightly tight fit, the thin easily shaped felt, and my long oval head all conspire to cause the brim to curl up on the sides when I wear it. I’d love to keep this hat, but it’s just too small.

The size is the easy bit: it's a size 56 or 7 American. Borsalino used this style of label from the early eighties onwards. So it is later than 1983. The size label is an earlier type, so I'd say mid-eighties to mid-nineties. The colour is anyone's guess. Borsalino has several colour is that "natural" colour scheme:Having trouble interpreting this sticker on a prospective purchase - any ideas on year of manufacture and name of colorway?

Thanks for the insight. I've seen an avorio Borsalino before and it was a nasty dirty grey/beige color - probably owned by a heavy smoker. I guess I'll try my luck and see what comes of it.The size is the easy bit: it's a size 56 or 7 American. Borsalino used this style of label from the early eighties onwards. So it is later than 1983. gesso sfumata

If I'd have to take a guess I'd go for avorio (ivory) for this one.
Great new Borsi for you Randy!Do you remember how it feels when you find that new best friend? Thank you @BobHufford for yet another terrific hat! This Borsalino Qualita Superiore is like new and, best yet, it's the first Borso that actually fits. Try as I might, Borso fedora's have just too much taper for my head. This nero homburg is fantastic and sports a wind cord, 5 inch crown as creased, a 2 1/8 inch curled brim, 1 1/2 inch black ribbon and a 2 inch brown sweat. Too bad it is getting too hot to wear felt hats!
Here are a few initial pictures with my recent garage sale find, a $5 Brownie Hawkeye camera.

Thanks, Joe.Great new Borsi for you Randy!
That's great Randy! I'm impressed you developed the photos of the hat you took with that Brownie so quickly. Wear the hat in good health my friend.
That’s an interesting brim treatment, I like it.5 ⅝” open crown and 2 ¾” brim with decorative edge stitching. Size is 6 French Point / Punti so 7 ⅜ US. It’s definitely grey, but in the late evening light it’s showing as brown in some of the photos.

Treatment repels water…. The color repels Stefan.Modern Borsalino fedora. Size 57 witht the raw edge brim at 6,5cm and the crown at 11cm at the center dent. Suede finish. The hat is green, I know. It's for resale obviously
