I bought a hat from "Dave Brown Hats" a couple of years ago.
I feel like the brim is a bit wide @ 2 inches.
Is there a way to "trim the brim" ?
It's starting to feel like a sombrero.
or am I crazy?

You're crazy.

Jokes aside, you may want to buy a brim cutter for about $15. This was discussed in a earlier thread:
{Link removed because this product is no good...my apologies}
Just scroll down a bit.

but I still don;t get how you can live with a brim that small :p

ACHTUNG/WARNING/CAUTION/DANGER

I received the alleged "brim trimmer" in question & it is a total POS. DO NOT BUY THIS ONE!
I am afraid the small silver "Boston Brim Trimmer" is my next (Last) resort. But the small beige one is totally useless.

Younger "with it" types seem to dig the stingy brims, more power to 'em. I'm starting to see some around town. They're not my cup O' tea, but at least they aren't ball caps!
Here's my idea of the ideal brim.;) It takes that much brim just to keep my nose covered!lol

Now hold on a minute Rooster......

Don't give the kids too much credit. If there is anyone who really knows what "with it" is ..it's us old coots who have been there and done that long before those kids were even a twinkle in Daddy's eye. You, my friend and fellow Iowan,
are definately "with it".

I feel your pain.

Yes, chucklehead I know what you mean. The 2" and over brim makes me look like a cartoon character. If I change the brim in front I look like a drunk and, like "Rooster" I burn my nose. Or should I say "Frost Bitten" it lol
