The Sovereign's are sweet hats and Yours Clint, is outstanding! A noticeable step up in quality (and that's saying something as vintage Stetson's lower"Royal" quality is unmatched in today's best hats).

Awesome, JoeyC! A knockout Sovereign and an Open Road. That's a Grail hat for me right there (early 50's if I had to guess).

Ive been thinking lately Tommy, I'm at 20 keeper lids in my collection now and wonder why I'm looking at the bay every night and thrift shops on the weekends, I need another hat like I need a hole in the head, but is it all about the search for the grail? I think it very well may be.

One of my go to hats. Takes any crease. Recently had a telescopic crease I switched to this cattleman. Very dense felt. I would love to come across another.

I didn't know this thread existed. Here's my Sovereign Twenty with a mode edge. I love this hat but I had to have the sweat replaced. It looked fine when I got it but began to disintegrate as soon as I conditioned it. Oh well, for $100 plus the sweat replacement, another great hat lives on.
