After today it will head to the bay. For all those here that are seriously interested in collecting and wearing rare, vintage hats in great condition, it doesn’t get much better than this. Does cause me to wonder about this site at times.

Have you tried listing on the FL Facebook group? I didn’t get a single response on the lounge, but when posting on the FB group a Stetson Royal I listed sold in minutes. Seems to be more buyers that don’t visit the lounge, just FB.

No, sir. It is 8 1/8” x 6 7/8". I wish it was. Looking at the sweat, with slight ripples, the hat may have shrunk a bit from not being worn but that's a subjective observation on my part.

I accepted an offer on this hat and I've been cultivating crickets ever since. Hence, the almost daily drop in price. I'm open to offers and conversations.

Thanks for the tip. I had surgery today to repair a hernia, and am waiting to see how much is covered by insurance. Also, one of the post op instructions stated:

6. Do not make any important decisions today or do anything that requires you to be alert or coordinated.

I especially gotta be careful around stupid pills.

But, it is a nice hat!

I’m not gonna lie Greg, that was one of the reasons I bought that akubra CD. I feel pretty comfortable in it. I’ll be keeping my eyes open for something like yours. Don’t get me wrong, it’s all about me feeling good in it. I don’t give a whole bunch of craps what anyone else thinks.

Thanks for the tip. Only have to pay $100 deductible for the surgery, and due to the opioid crisis the stupid pills they gave me are pretty weak (which I prefer), so I think I’m going for it.

SOLD! Headed to Hawaii and jonesy didn’t have to get pilled up for this one. This is one I’ll miss.

A side note: This is how to conduct business. I accepted offers from two different members who then ghosted me, not even a wave goodbye. Didn’t really matter as I knew this hat would sale it’s just silly the way they handled their end.
