I think I'm through buying hats - thought this would be worth sharing in its own thread. Only flaws are some wear to the reed casing and staple holes where the hat was tagged at the cleaners. Perfectly clean, not even the slightest moth nibble.
The fur is as soft and supple as anything I've touched - blows away the other 1920's longhairs I have. The $22.50 price tag was sort of startling, but this was definitely a high-end hat. Tough to tell what the original bash was, but I think it had a longer side-dent than shown below. Brim - 2 5/8", ribbon - 2 1/4", crown - 5 1/2", 7 1/4 (22 5/8")
