State Fair - '30s Style

[Atomic Glee]

Went to the Texas State Fair today, which is held in Fair Park in Dallas, the site of the Texas Centennial in 1936. Fair Park is a virtually completely preserved, massive Art Deco complex, and a paradise for Art Deco fans. Here are some random shots I took today - it really feels like stepping back in time to 1936:

What a great building, the murals are really fantastic. So did you try the Fried Coke?
