We watched the 1940s house on DVD recently and my daughter (10) really wants to do a similar project. It should be interesting given that she is a very fussy eater...

Even our middle school son would probably love it, he could be the lone young gentleman there to work with the girl on manners etc. and he's a good lead as a dance partner. He could wear his white tie and tails and his vintage beaver top hat for the dance lessons section of the week

The children are beautiful and can easily be molded into any era. I know I would have loved something like that as a child.
