The John Wayne & Maureen O'Hara shot is from, I'm pretty sure, Wings of Eagles. He and Maureen had such great chemistry on-screen for so many years in so many movies, and she's told some great stories about their friendship on TCM and elsewhere over the years.

Except that the image you have posted is not Rolls-Royce's Spirit of Ecstasy. That is without doubt an American model which I am sure one of our American members will be able to identify exactly.

Forgot to also say, that car of Joan Crawford's is not a Roller, once again it's an American model of some description. A Cadillac or something like that.

I believe that would most likely be a 30's Cadillac "Flying Lady" ornament. Ms. Crawford's car appears to be a 1932 Cadillac Fleetwood Roadster. Fantastic thread!
