Sport your Straw! Show us your Straw Hats!

Folks,

In preparing for the move to Southern California, and spending time down there...one thing is clear. It's too gosh darn hot to wear any kind of felt except in the evening. Therefore, I have started adding straw hats to my collection of hats. And it had me thinking, perhaps Magneto might have the same situation so why not start a thread about "Sporting your Straw Hat!"

So, as you can see to the left of my post, my avatar already has me sporting one of my hats. It's summer time here in California. So this is your chance and hopefully you Loungers will bite.

So what straw hats are you wearing? Montecristi? PanamaBob Special Hat? Milan Straw? An Optimo? I'm curious, and hopefully you will be too.

if i had to make an educated guess, i would say Optimo hats on the south side of chi town...

Optimo in this case refers to the crown style with the center ridge; not to the Optimo Hats shop run by Graham Thompson in Chicago. Graham's hats are considerably more than $70.

It is a commissioned grade Blanco style - a classy C-Crown!

It was ordered one month ago - Bob had the raw body handy when he returned from Pile
