At the risk of souding "flirty"..I think your voice is as lovely as the sound of that rain falling.

Music to this man's ears, for sure.

Gosh as I read this back, it really does sound "fllirty". Maybe I should have just taken a page from the Gentlemen to the left:

Moe: ..enchanted.
Larry:...enlightened
Curley:...embalmbed!

I can't imagine your voice being annoying! :) Now, I'm annoying!
(...stuffy Minnie Mouse monotone with spells of excited mumbling, genus Californian.) Any and all donations towards elecution lessons are gratefully accepted.

Not at all. I didn't even notice.
I think it has to do with what people say rather than the voice they say it with---to me. I look for content not some canned radio voice. If I wanted that then I could turn on the radio.
I'll throw a bone out to BK though---then again there is Tiny Tim. I could do without listening to that voice. :p In two minutes he should be defending him. lol

My voice is rather deep. Whenever I hear a recording of myself, I think "that sounds a whole lot like Butthead." (Butthead of the show "Beavis and Butthead.") I also sound a lot like my father - whenever I answer our home phone people will automatically think that I'm my father.

well mine is kinda deep and sometimes like i would lose my voice! Kinda croaky ? People kept asking my mom when i was a child if i screamed too much! But indeed i kinda like my voice ..when im almost losing it!
But at the same time it is a very loud voice! Friends have to tell me to lower my voice...and i have to tell them ..this is how I speak! My laugh is loud too.
People here in the US dont really notice Im german cause my accent seems to be pretty good! (thats what ive been told[huh] ) They ask me : but yeah ..uuuhm ..but you were born here right?:p
But if you listen closer you will notice! I never had problems learning a new language or even accents/slangs from different german states.
I really dont like hearing myself. I always think? Thats me? why do people like talking to me rather then running awaylol

I suppose the best way to tell would be to go to my profile, go to my work website, wash your eyes with bleach after viewing my year and a half old "transitional hair" (from Marine to civvie) picture, call my work number and listen to my message.

If you do all that I recommend you take up a hobby or find a new book, cause that's waaaaaay too involved.

.oO(mental note, get new picture taken  )

Smack dab in the middle of the Atlantic! (I hope I don't sink.lol )

Some years ago, around the same time, I had two people visit me, one, a British lady who was my teacher in the British school I'd gone to, and another, a classmate from the school in the US (in MD 10 mins out of Washington DC) I'd attended.
The British lady lamented, "Oh, dear, what happened to your lovely Queen's English, you sound so American now!"
My schoolmate told me, "Your British accent is stronger than I remember."

Go figure.[huh] :D
