I love the look of clothes based on the era from around 1920 to the late 1940s and find them much more comfortable to wear than modern clothes. High waisted trousers don't dig into your waist, especially when they're held up by button braces which is great for a desk based job.
It's a focus that I am sure I'll have for the rest of my life and I am lucky in the fact that I have found great suppliers of the majority of these clothes online. Spencers for high waisted trousers, SJC and Chester Cordite for spearpoint shirts, Darcy for the separate collar shirts and "Froggiewentcourting" for the shorter button braces required for the trousers.
I am struggling though to find a source for a sports jacket that matches my preferred era, especially as I want one without a back vent. Do I need to go bespoke or are there UK suppliers out there please?
