Not that anyone else would want one! I think LBJ was a train wreck of a president, and a bad guy. But he was a great character. And I think very little of Nixon, but I think he'd be the most interesting 20th c President to have as a dinner guest. My home has a few Nixon, LBJ, or Lady Bird ashtrays on the tables. Kennedy was too much a celebrity, and not remotely interesting IMHO, so no Kennedy paraphernalia in this house. And I can't imagine having any Presidential stuff post-Nixon. But an LBJ ashtray in the shape of a hat? Sold!

Anyone know what's rubbed out below the Presidential seal?

Never seen an example with anything other than the seal and signature on one of these. Looks as if someone tried to scratch something out.

I think it says “i’m not a crook either”.
