I just won this one and I think I will be set for a while with straw hats. I have Marc's fantastic Montecristi Homburg, Dmans Essman Optimo and now this Supernatural.It looks really nice so I will keep my fingers crossed.

That Champ has all the features I like; color, ribbon width, crown and brim dimensions, bound edge, and above all, no silk liner which would turn the hat into a jiffy poppper, for me. The crown liner is fine, as long as it doesn't touch my bald head, they tend to adhere due to perspiration. You and Dinerman are outstanding collectors with fine taste, and terrific pics!

the Supernatural is just stupendous...what lines! it seems like we see the
best that design has had to offer-and we can wear it on our noggins!

reminds me of a great train, or an elegant steamer- time slowed down
in the early evening haze of a Southern mansion-turned-hotel,fine bourbon
on ice, sweating through the glass, ladies swinging gently on the arms
of their respectable beaus-walking barefoot through the deep green lawn,
shoes forgotten behind the oak spreading it's long shadow far enough to
obscure other lovers-some with elegant straw hats suddenly plucked by
a young woman and held behind her back, eyes dancing, waiting for him to
reach for his hat...
