So trivial, yet it really ticks you off.

More trivial things that are too painful for words:

I really envy those that can still crunch the ice with their
teeth. :p

Only the corn does anything for me! I never chewed on ice and was never a big caramel apple guy. Yes, I have all but one of my original teeth, not counting my wisdom teeth. A few have been capped due to crumbling old silver fillings! No, I never take chewing for granted!

I can still run & jump on a bike or bite into a candy/toffee apple or crunch ice..................but I won't . :D
That conjures up an image of a toffee apple with a pair of dentures stuck in it. Much as I love corn on the cob, I more often than not pass up on it. Two reasons. It looks so gross seeing someone trying to pick the debris from their teeth. And, I don't know about anyone else, but sweetcorn is so laxative, and seems to go through almost undigested. Regular consumption could help you blitz the limescale off the toilet pan.

I could have gone the whole day without reading that...

Computer virus people! I managed to pick up one of the Ransomware viruses today! I messed with it part of the morning and a little this afternoon. I finally realized, I had all my important files backed up, so I ran to the office supply store and bought a new hard drive! Took a couple of hours to get it programmed, it's on it's last leg I think, not all the components want to play nice inside the cabinet anymore!

I've had a couple of those, computer blocked by an official police notice informing me I've been consulting illegal sites (how do they know :D) & that I have to pay a fee to have my computer 'unblocked'
They're easy enough to remove....I start the computer on safe mode with networking support/ command prompt which will give you access, albeit limited, to both internet & certain computer programs, download ' Roguekiller' if it isn't already in your files, run a scan which usually gets the b******, then I run a scan of my usual useless anti-virus thingy, followed by a system restauration to a date before the infection. You may have to tweak a few things & check out your programs to make sure you don't have any uninvited guests lurking about.

I tried everything you suggested, still could not access my photos. Oh well, already destroyed that hard drive, now my computer is lightning fast! So small silver lining.

When I first had the internet, about twenty years ago, I was on good old dial up. Thinking back, it seems like the stone age. Anyway, I was boasting to my lady that I was going to find a swing-jive dance that we could go to. Was I naive or what? I typed 'Swing' into the search box. There was no warning, no website addresses, just a full on page of porn. Copulating couples doing it in every conceivable position. My missus, aware of my embarrassment, took the sting out of it. She leant over, so that her head was almost ninety degrees to her torso and said: "See! I told you that position was possible."

After a day of too much tennis, I went to the web in search for treating a sore back.
I typed in “body massage treatments”.
First page was fine....but clicking further....the subject content starting taking
an entirely different aspect! ;)

There’s a "safe mode” option that might help.
Not 100 % sure.

A friend of mine who is from the UK was looking on the internet, when his wife asked what sight he was looking at he replied, "a sight down in Texas where British singles can get together!" She laughed when she saw the sight, it was British single cylinder motorcycles.

Being paid for a freelance job with a rubber check.

Being *CHARGED FIFTEEN STINKING DOLLARS* by the bank for the chargeback that resulted from my depositing the rubber check I was unknowingly paid with. On top of $70 worth of overdraft fees for *my* checks that were compromised by the bad payment.

Wanting to punch someone in the face but not knowing whether to start with the client or the bank.

I got stung for nearly two grand by a publisher who filed for bankruptcy. The worst of it is that this publisher had a personal wealth in the millions, but the publication itself was incorporated, of course, so the scalawag's personal assets were shielded.

The rich are different, you know.

Maybe some one will know the answer to this question, do colorblind people have trouble seeing orange? I am serious! I bought a bright pumpkin orange truck and suddenly people are pulling out in front of me like crazy. This is not the usual me first people, this is almost a crash situations. Or is this like on the motorcycle, where people only register in their brain what they expect to see, and since, orange was not a popular color until this year, they don't compute!

I know the feeling. Sometimes I wonder if my truck came equipped with a stealth device that I don't know about but have somehow unwittingly activated. Or maybe I should notify the U.S. military that Billet Silver will render their vehicles invisible?
