Good for you,...I mean the part about not having to bother with all that rot. The only thing I've had to do to my car since I bought it 4 years ago was change a headlight bulb. But just because it wasn't covered under the warranty.
Not that I haven't or couldn't do all that, but I've just had my fill of working on cars over the years.

I do wear jeans. But unless I wear a turtleneck there are views to be had from passers by. There's more to it, but it's a dirty and awkward thing, so maybe I'll just stop being independent and have my man do it.

Most places that sell or repair tires will do it for you, usually they won't charge if you have purchased tires from them before. I usually give them $5 anyway.

Hm, the filling stations in my area come equiped with bums who ask to wash your windshield etc, if you stop.

But there are still full service stations around, at the one by me the attendant pumped my gas even at the self serve pump.
