Finally got my hands on my Simon James Cathcart (SJC) jeans today, and I have to say I'm mightily impressed. Given the amount of new denim makers kicking around, the market's a crowded one, but Simon's designs really stand out. The quality of fabric, 16oz Japanese denim, archive-matched thread, and construction is first-rate - stitching and finish is fantastic - and the fit is classic and flattering with a higher rise than you'll find on the likes of Gustin etc - perfect for matching with a half-belt or A-2. Overall, very happy with them, Simon's attention to detail in his designs has really paid-off and he deserves all the praise that's coming to him for his work.
Anyway, as we know worthlesswithoutpics, so here's a bunch of out-of-the-box details and a few fit pics.
