Geez if only I could find them like that out here. I found just one at a garage sale and it has no label but it does have cool stylized flower design. I also found a straw hat for my son crammed into the same bag  Size 7. Perfect for a 6 year old---darn it!:p

I was at that Goodwill two days earlier and they were not there. After I got home I remembered there was a 6th tie on the rack. By the time I got back there - it was long gone. I occasionally find vintage ties, most of them are shredded or so stained it isn't worth the few bucks they are asking.

Oh so I don't feel too bad now. Off to steam the misshapen straw hat. :p

The 70s made monsters out of the cool bold ties.

Naturally so; whenever I'm at St. Vin's, I always have to shift through those (Goodwill, for some reason, only has later 1980s to even modern ties; one time some "hipster" found one of those weird 1990s retro ties, and snatched it, declaring that he had found a "vintage 1940s gangster tie"; little did he know that there were 30+ ACTUAL "1940s Gangster Ties", really 1930s-1960s on the same rack, which is where I bought the ones that I uploaded a while back), but usually I'm very lucky and find a nice tie, but the first time I went, I found a narrow "Bold Look" tie, but the rear blade had been significantly shortened and "squared off"!

You should have no problem finding vintage hats with that size. Try being a 7 5/8. :p

I'm 7 3/8 long oval. If I had a smaller head, I'd definitely have a larger hat collection. I've seen plenty of nice hats on eBay below my size.

That's a beauty Annixter. Great use of colors.

Cool Hey More. The alternating fat and skinny lines in the key work part give it an Escher-esque feel.

The Good - that tie looks nice as worn. A very formal effect.

Thanks, it does look very formal with a white shirt and a dark charcoal grey suit. It's one of my favorites in the collection. I'm going to see if I could acquire more 1900s and 1910s ties, in the near future. They seem to be extremely difficult to find on eBay, and so are 1920s ties. Excluding the cravats and bow ties, I wonder how difficult it is to find a Victorian long tie at this point? Has anyone ever found one, here?
