Thanks Bob! I'd been having a bit of a dry spell lately.

I stopped to check out a new thrift store that opened in my neighborhood. Wasn't expecting much, but I found this 40s or early 50s castle themed Churchill for a buck.

I usually wear my new red bow tie to work, but today I wore the vintage yellow stripe bow tie. I get compliments every now and then.RS -- nice finds. You wear them well ... especially the bow ties. Do you wear these at work? If so, do people ask you about them?
Thanks! I'm glad you like the ties!Wow, RS. Those are some great ties. Great pics too!
Do you smoke, or is the cigarette just a prop? Inquiring minds.....
Sweet ! Cool motif on the fabric. Funny how the late 50s early 60s kinda had a neo deco look to things. If that makes any sense. Cars come to mind early to mid 50s were kinda bubbly/ bomber / missile then later like 58-59 to 60 to late 63 had bold blocked forms accented with fine deco style motifs highlighting the lines
Scored this skinny unlabeled one today. Nifty embroidery detail and unusual texture. Couldn't pass it by for 50 cents.
