Let's get some conservatively striped vintage ties in here! They're a true rarity. Some even have the original tags!

The majority of these are from a lot of vintage ties I snapped up in an antique store for $15 total. I don't think I paid more than $5 for the brown one or the bowtie. Bowtie and the green/red/blue/yellow striped one don't have identifying tags sewn on. The bowtie is probably 1950s, but all the other ties are 1920s-1930s.

Wool/mohair, rayon, and silk. The blue and white one has such a wonderful rough texture to it and ties a great knot. The brown and green one is really poorly made and twists around when hung and doesn't even roll up very well.

The silk of the regimental wedding tie feels so soft. Selvedge on the rear blade. The Hudson's Bay Company tie on the far right feels like rayon.

Both this one and the wedding tie came with stiff (cardboard?) tags that were STAPLED through the rear blade. I prised these loose so the material wouldn't get damaged when rolled up.

Love this one. I like ready-tied ties of any kind and the fabric is unique.
Melting amoeba, lava or raw meat? Maybe swirls of bacon?

I should guess so. It says Diamond Head right there on the back. It's a darn nice one.

DamianM does that snappy tie come pre-knotted, or do you tie it yourself to your own length, then use the snapper for easy on-off. I have one that works on that concept, only instead of a snap it has a little hook, but once its on, since the knot is yours you can adjust it. I posted it awhile back on here I think.
