That should be my mother lode for a while. The shop is run by the 'little ol' ladies' of the hospital auxillary. I'm a familiar face to them. Today, they let me go through the ties back in the sorting room and only charged me fifty cents each.... :)

These are a batch I bought from fellow lounger 'Lucky Kat':

First a 'Hollyvogue'

I did some shopping yesterday and came home with these ones:

This is by 'Huntleigh' it seems to be part of a 'heathers' range?

This is by Stafford. I was a bit unsure about buying it but one can never have enough red ties (probably rather more modern than some of the others):

This apears to be a 1940s tie but has no labels. Great colours:

I guess this is from the 1950s. It's by 'Frame Ties' and is labelled as 'Europa Silk'. At first I thought the varying widths of the white stripe was a sign that the silk was splitting. But no, that's the design. As soon as I realised that, I knew I was going to buy it:

I am guessing this one - by 'Abbey' - is from the late 50s, maybe early 60s. I bought it simply because I don't have any other ties in that colour:

A couple I acquired recently. The left one has no tags and an odd texture that feels man made but durable with no lining. I doubt either are golden era, but I got them for 1$ and they look like they've never been worn.
