I'd say a couple bucks, of course I'm the one who's interested in it
Thank you!tie will be sent
I posted this (above) a while ago. Tootal Sports Quality. Here's another put out by Tootal in their Sports Quality. this one featuring football players. Forgive the relatively poor photo …
The quality of the fabric - as compared to the normal Tootal ties (green, silver quality etc.) which were usually silk - is quite low on the "Sports Quality" ties. I think they might be cotton. They are usually marked "Tebilized".
Here's another for you!. Went diggin' through the storage boxes to find this one. Not long before it gets back into the rotation … This one's made of better fabric. Feels like a lightweight wool, pretty like the 1930s American Botany ties. no labels on this one.
Nice. Polo ponies and all. You sure it doesn't feel like a Priestley's Non-Crush? lol
It doesn't bear the hallmarks of Priestley's - that is, it's not totally crushed to hell and unstraightenable …
Maybe Priestley's wasn't so bad back in the day. But it certainly didn't pull through the years as uncrushable.

Very interesting '20s or earlier clip on (to your collar stud) ties.

Knowing how fickle tying a tie with a detachable collar can be, especially sliding them, I can see how chaps would resort to these.
No one ever said that the labels were short on creativity.
