Hmm, I think it's a souvenir photo. I don't think the frame can be opened, and even if it was opened, it appears the central image part is glued to the white part. Interestingly, it has the postcard colors.

Some recent finds:

Actually got these from a buy-sell-trade page on Facebook. Came from an old lady who was going into assisted living, or had passed away. Her children weren't really clear. One thing was clear from the lamps, someone in that house was a heavy smoker!

Another buy-sell-trade find, my best ever. I have wanted one of these mugs for years. Circa 1893, and I paid 2.25. Worth much more than that.

Got these last weekend:

All buy-sell-trade finds that day, including the steins in the cabinet.

The cabinet and clock came from a man who's mother had passed away.
Don't worry, I did something about that cord lol

Got this shelf and most of the steins on it from the Goodwill today. Fit the spot in the dining room well, and I really like the Norman Rockwell piece.

Oh, you haven't even seen all of them lol We do live in an area with quite a beer culture!

Tom you have an enviable collection of beer drinking equipment. I never find the good stuff like that down here.

Thank you! I've been into clocks all my life, "clock" was my first word, actually. I have many clocks, mostly vintage, many belonged to my grandfather. Some he built, some he bought. He built many clocks, curio cabinets, tables, chairs, etc.

I spend my winters doing repairs. I buy a lot of ones that are being sold for parts, or that are likely to be tossed if nobody takes them and give them new life.

Are there any specific ones you would like to know about?

I love your clocks, Tom. What can you tell us about them?

I just live in an area with a lot of beer......not much culture to go with it. Most folks just drink it straight from the can or bottle.

Maybe you can find or start a thread to post pics of all your steins. Is there a vintage beer thread somewhere?

The closer you get to Milwaukee, the stronger the beer culture is. There was a time it was the brewery capital of the world.

I did start a brewery collecting thread on here some time ago.
