I have an old kids Indian coloring book from the same era. It's like brand new & I picked it up for the good art work.My wife picked up a couple of kid’s books from 1948 and 1951.
"Coronation" silverware pattern came out in 1936, to celebrate the coronation of King Edward VIII, who ended up only reigning for a year or so, until he abdicated "to marry the woman I love". I happened to find this plate at the same store-one of the few commemorative plates to show him wearing the crown.here's another recent find: Oneida "Coronation" silverware. It's plated, but still nice. Why use cheap modern stuff when you can get something as nice as this for $7? View attachment 167558
