Have you tried them with longer sleeves? I have two sport coats that are that sort of length and the shirt covers up the gap between my wrists and the coat sleeves.

Agreed. French cuffs will take up the space and show off a nice set of links.

That's a pretty good idea. I still need to get a shirt with French cuffs; I have plenty of links.
I wore it today and the short length wasn't noticable.

To the top.

Feraud, Looking very sharp. I like how you pulled the Pkt Sq. and lid together. Are you wearing your vintage key chain on your vest?
Paddy, that is one great looking Overcoat.

Hi Marty. Thanks for compliment. I was hoping the square and lid combo would work. That is not the vintage key chain I showed in another thread but an old watch chain. The pocket watch is not visible but an 18s Waltham.

Gentlemen...
Gosh, This is my debut photo so I hope I'm posting this correctly.
I thought I'd show you a shot of me in my 3 piece pinstripe...before I totally outgrow it!

However, I'm still undecided if this is the right hat for me (and this suit!) Is it too "Temple of Doom" for the pinstripes? ...I'd love to get a bowler!

When I've got the watch chain in, I button the vest down all the way so everything lays better. But when I wear my wrist watch, I usually keep the vest's bottom button open.

I absolutely love it. I don't know if you'd want to do this to your suit, but many vintage waistcoats have a vertical buttonhole between the last two buttons just for the purpose of threading a watch chain or strap through.

And hey, you shouldn't forget that Harrison Ford pulled off navy pinstripes with a brown fedora in the previous film to the one you mentioned. ;)

By all means though, get another if your budget allows and you're uncomfortable. The hatters and hat-wearers here would be more than glad to help out.

Last but not least, welcome! :)

Thanks, Jovan!
I appreciate the welcome and the buttonhole suggestion.
I think I will definitely go for that vertical buttonhole for the vest on my next 3 piece pinstripe, along with lapels and perhaps even a second matching DB vest, just for variety.

I also want a tad bolder, sharper pinstripes next time...as opposed to chalk stripes.

Thanks for that example photo of Indy. I feel better now. But I still have the urge to get that bowler, too.

Very good look. I usually wear a gray hat with a blue suit, but that's just my personal preference. Brown looks very good (and I may look for one now that you have set such a good example).
