August! Wow that chap must be busy.

I have successfully let out the chest waist and hips of the small suit jacket from a few pages ago. It's not a particularly pretty job but not totally unprofessional, either.

Yes, it's pretty much just right. It's a little tight in the waist still, but that's because i'm a little chub at the moment.

I purchased this Giorgio Sant' Angelo DB tux to wear when I had a small part in the 1987 movie Broadcast News... I have since only worn it for a few formal occasions over the years. 40 pounds later. I never thought I would get into it again...

I recently lost close to 40 pounds, and thought I would give the old tux a try.....

I rather like this one.

Ignore the goofball model.

Reverse pleats.

This doesn't show it, but there is zero taper from knee to cuff, and the legs are wide. Cuffs are wide also.

Notched back. The back is slightly higher than the front. A single right-side pocket. I've not had a chance to replace any of the shirts that are too big. This is a super billowy Paul Frederick.

Nipped waist. Ticket pocket.

Trousers are very high waisted as well.

Details. Hand stitching.

This is a dart, hidden by the lapel, that allows the lapel to lay perfectly.

Sleeve head and liner. More hand stitching.

Working surgeon's cuffs. Hand finished.

Top button hole of three is finished on the inside - by hand.

Waist adjusters, no belt loops.

No labels that help with dating. I'll never own anything as finely made again. Anyone have any shirt/tie suggestions?

That's why you need to unbutton it and let it roll over just a bit. Might I suggest buttoning the middle button only?

Super suit Scotrace! Not to impugn your noble face, sir, but that photo taken from behind you really shows the tailored waist of the jacket to great effect. And your haircut looks perfectly Golden Era, too.

Hmmm, next time I get a pair of trousers (for a suit or otherwise) made, methinks I know which photos to take to the tailor with me . . .
