I've posted these "new to me" hats already in other threads, but what the hell. I'll start with the used one: Bailey Hats' "Mannes" in "brown multi":

100% Polypropylene. Only after I had it in-hand did I realize the colors were a fairly decent match to that Hawaiian shirt. I think the brim still needs a little work...

Up next, my actually new new hat, another Bailey. This time it's their "Billy" model in basic black:

Toyo braid (55% Polyester, 45% paper straw), surprisingly soft and comfortable. Despite it's narrow brim, I think it'll get a lot of head time this summer, and it might become my new favorite.
The Mannes is a fantastic model! I've got three of those in different colors. You wear them well!

Thanks! The brim was asymmetrical in the auction photos, then the seller shoved it into a slightly-too-small box to send it to me and that formed the sides of the brim with more upward curl than it should have based on the advertising photos on Bailey's website, so...I don't know. Still playing with it while trying to get used to using steam to re-shape it (finally got myself my first steamer), so...we'll see what happens. ;)

I keep saying no more stingy brims, but then something nice comes along. This is my latest: Francato Cappello Freed Hat Company Royal Beaver in black. It has a 2” felted / Cavanagh edge brim and 5 5/8” open crown. Unfortunately, the sweatband needs to be replaced.

Nice mid-weight felt that is easily dry creased. In spite of some Italian wordings it looks to be made in the US.

I know you're generally not a fan of stingy-brimmed hats, but that's a nice one and it looks good on you! Replace that sweat, and you just might have yourself a good casual hat to knock around town in.

While it’s still cool (ish) enough here in Orlando for felt I figured I’d sneak in this vintage trilby picked up a couple weeks ago!

This old Wormser makes it into the rotation quite often. It has had many different crown shapes while in my possession. I like it's current bash and it will probably stay this way. Nice color, nice brim curl, sweet brim binding, sassy brim dip in front and a telescoping crown ala Pork Pie'ish.
Very nice, really awesome shape!
