WOW, sproily; AMAZING boots. Tough act to follow, but here's what I've got:

Recently acquired a very old pair of Allen Edmonds "Tuxedo" model.

Perfect fit for my narrow feet so I'm keeping these.

7 eyelets... great 50s score. See that old footbed and font/labels...

And then I found these interesting. Old curling shoes. Look like they might be from the early days when people were having shoemakers attach the sliders to existing cold-weather footwear.

Before coming to Fedora Lounge all I wore was sneakers. You guys and gals have been an influence to me! None of them are vintage, I'm afraid.

Laces 1940's

I am in need of a pair of correct vintage laces for my 1940's Stetson Spades.
Round, Brown and 35 inches.

Can anyone help me out? I see some on e-bay that look correct but they are only 27 inches.

The cobbler lost one of my laces when I had the shoe in for service.

PM if you can help me out.

Thanks !!

Those are definitely vintage

Those are new Bass that I bought off of ebay. I've been pretty lucky with buying shoes from ebay, since you can't try them on for sizing. Nothing feels better than stepping out in a freshly shined pair of shoes.

Nice shoes but that buckling just above the throat line (between the bottom two eyelets) is a little weird. Even so, I love the brogueing .
