Ray's Linen Beltback

Mr. Rover said:
Thanks very much! I also think that Sen. Jack and Hemingway have gotten some repro stuff made, some of them from on-line tailors.
Does J. Peterman stuff count as repro?

So as not to waste more bandwidth with pictures, here's the links to my newest additions:
Linen beltback
Navy Stripe DB

It must be the texture of linen that makes that beltback so cool. In the Durrell TV movie (see other thread) the Greek scientist wears one and it looks great like yours Ray with that lived in look.

Deckard: May I be so bold as to say... I'm not sure the three buttons or really wide trousers are doing you many favours. They seem to make you appear wider as a consequence. I know they are features from the period you like, but perhaps two buttons or a slightly smaller trouser leg would suit you better? Just some constructive criticism.

I wore this suit last night, and I just realized that until then, I had no pictures of it.

I designed this suit myself and had it made about two or three years ago. Two-tone gab (navy blue and B&W houndstooth) with pleated patch pockets, modified 'hollywood' collar & lapels, cartoonishly padded shoulders and pinched waist, with matching high waisted hollywood draped and pegged trousers.
