Hi Ladies. Long time, no see! I've bought loads but this is my most recent purchase.
I can't really afford it but I got it to cheer me up because I have a virus again.

I found this 50s woolen cardigan by Bradley Knitwear the other week in mint condition on ebay. Bought it for a friends birthday (she's a 1950s nut) but it was too small for her sadly. Even though she adored it, she told me to sell it on of I wanted to. If anyone is interested PM me and I'll give you some details.

Tried to pm you, but your box is full! Does that mean the sweater has found a new home?

Oh Haley! I'm so sorry :( I didn't even KNOW my box was full! Yes, it sold today actually. Stupid in-box! I wish it would notify us when it needed cleaning out! I will PM you my Etsy store details. I have a lot of other cool stuff in there xx

my black 40s dress arrived some days ago and today I put it out of the freezer (I'm always freezing everything I bought secondhand because I'm scared of animals like fleas or lice)
I'm so happy about it!

my grandma advises me to shorten it, what do you think?

Bought a RAF suit for £20 at the Duxford airshow, not vintage, but 80s. Still, the cut of the jacket is beautiful! Only showing the jacket here, there wasn't a changing room to try on the skirt..

I think the length is perfect as it is. Very elegant and makes your legs look like they go on for miles. Can't believe I'm disagreeing with your grandmother.

It's absolutely the correct length for a '40's dress.

3 pairs of stocking, 1 pr silk about 1935-40, 2 nylon one of these are marked cc41 and the other maybe early1950's,
The best think is that I bought them all for £1.50 or $3 from a charity shop.

I have been looking in charity shops for over 6 years and this is my first real vintage find.

Paul, I'm surprised it's taken you six years to find something vintage in your charity shops. I'm always finding little bits and bobs, although it's not like you will definitely find something every shop, every time.

It is still out there. Persistence pays off!

Miss Golightly, I'm SO excited that Carole Craig is going to live with you! It's absolutely chic!! I hope you will post pics wearing it once it arrives! :)

I had no idea that it was your shop that I bought it from! How lovely! I can't wait for the dress to arrive - and I will of course take a snap of me wearing it - I think it's going to be one of my faves!:)

Nomanolo - That's a beautiful dress - love the colour and the detailing at the neckline - you look fab in it (great shoes too!)!
