I went to my favourite vintage store today and got lots of beautiful things!

Amazing skirt, in such great condition. I have no clue what to wear with it. Any ideas?

i found this amazing black velvet dress labelled "edgy" at a thrift shop.
I think it had been passed over because it looks so goth on the hanger.
But it is really gorgeous on - see how it drapes over the hips.
But it has no label so I have no idea how old it is- it smells very old!
What do people think? how old is my treasure?
I am wearing it to the "Windy Lindy" ball here in Wellington in a couple of weeks - the theme is putting on the Ritz - perfect timing!

Great buys! Love the skirt, actually i might have to pop into Next as i don't venture onto the high street much, but i'm finding it hard to get my hands on cute jumpers, and that is really pretty. Great dress too Claire Q x

Thanks Miss Sofia! I was in Monsoon this morning and they have some really beautiful embelished cardigans and jumpers but they are a little on the pricey side however AWear have some in at the moment and the price is a little more reasonable!

I am looking to buy the gorgeous Fleur dress from Heyday for my birthday, even if summer is almost over!

I have bought a few of the vivien of holloway tea dresses, they are very easy to wear but very expensive!

Their gypsy blouses also look lovely with pencil skirts

I love these esspecially the Fleur dress!! Does anyone know of a USA company making similar items? Do these companies ship to USA? would the international shipping be outrageous?

I'm not sure how it is the other way around, but I buy stuff mostly from the US, and the most postage i've had so far was £15, for a tweed suit.

Hey there, it looks like a beauty! It's so hard to date it from the photos, specially since that style is still worn today. Post a photo of the tag or zipper (if there is one), that would help us date it!

i got these - for next summer - and my husband couldn't stop laughing when he saw them, he said they look like clown trousers and that everyone will laugh at me, even on the beach...apparently it is my most risible vintage buy yet.

will i look stupid then, what do you think? i thought about pairing them with this blouse - perhaps not ideal, but that's what i've got - and tennis shoes.

my husband is saying that i've started losing the plot
