Thanks! Scarlet, I described the process in the Show Us Your Hairdo thread. You should pop over there to see my rudimentary description. If you want any more info than what's there, let me know and I'll provide more detail!

I'm feeling stupid... why can't I find that thread???

I have wanted to get a black quilted circle skirt for some time now - this will look lovely with my little sweaters for the Winter:

Nice, Miss Golightly! I've been starting to think winter clothes myself. It may be time to set aside the sundresses and start looking for wool!

Thanks BoPeep! This is the second circle skirt I have bought and now I'm on the lookout for some cute sweaters to go with them. I'm definitely more of a fan of Autumn/Winter clothes than Spring/Summer - all the accessories you can dress up your Winter outfit with - gloves, hats, scarves....

Thanks swinggal!

I would like the little strings w/snaps that go around bra & slip straps to come back in all dresses!

Wholeheartedly agree with this one! Love them! Especially great for swing dancing as everything stays where it should.

I've seen these made with small width grosgrain ribbon and snaps as well, This would be a very easy thing to add on your own to your dresses.

I've started to do it dress by dress...a lengthy process, but at least it matches my sewing capabilities! *lol*

Love this! I love quilted skirts, but find they can be a bit too warm in the winter when I'm sitting in my office and the heat in the building is blaring! Great for walking around in the cold though.

I have one but don't have any tops to match it, and mine is very crisp, which makes wearing it a bit ridiculous and unwieldy lol

Thanks KittyT! I'm wondering now how heavy the skirt will be - the other quilted skirt I got is light enough and I can wear a crinoline under it and still be able to move about! I really hope that this particular skirt isn't too heavy and I feel like I'm lugging about the base of the Statue of Liberty!

Miss Hannah, I'll let you know which one's I'm going to sell when they arrive. I like the coolie one too and have a 30s one that is very similar in blue, so I may keep it, but the wedding ring one is yours! I'll list them properly and take better pics and make sure any flaws etc are noted for each.

They will probably arrive next week. Funny, then I have to separate them and send some BACK to the US/UK or wherever for those who want then! Transcontinental hats....he he
