This *finally* arrived, too small in the boob! lol Story of my life. I'll try it with a reducer, otherwise, anyone interested? It's something like 36-28-free, have to measure more accurately.

That sweater is beeyoutiful!!!!!

Thank you! She hadn't drycleaned the sweater in probably 20-40 years and NEVER had cleaned the fur. The sweater was gray-yellow when I got it and the fur was a darker brown - now the sweater is a cream yellow trimmed in light brown mink!

It looks better on the mannequin than me...but I'll suffer..

I got these from Primark for £4!! They're so comfortable. I too wear flats all the time but these are just great for me, very sturdy!! Some of the wedges that are around that the moment are ridiculously high, and just look painful!!! The heel on these is about 2" (which is a surprise to me I must say!!!)

I also go these from Primark for the same price;

Again, they're really comfortable (I am able to walk the mile into town & back int hem) and have a 1.5" heel. Oooo shoes!!! I got these in red & black!

i saw a pair very much like the Red ones at Payless today, nearly bought but was out shopping for new gloves, and had to stay focused...

All very lovely purchases - wonderful sweater, Vintage Betty! The dress looks like it would be incredibly gorgeous on, Fifties*Freak, and I'd love to see that hat on.

My husband and I just went to a vintage fair this morning and I found some good buys there.

This is a dress that I got on e-bay about a week ago (it's a handmade dress from the 1940's), but the gloves were bought at the vintage fair.

This dress is a repro that needs a bit of tlc, but was a great deal at 8 pounds.

And I just love these stockings. I know they're vintage though I don't know what era they're from.

RetroModelSari, WOW!!

Betty, that’s just gorgeous!

Fifties*Freak, those are so beautiful, and so are you! You remind me of someone, but I can’t put my finger on who…

CassD, I love your day dresses! And you have such purdy hair!

I won this cute jacket yesterday:

However I realised after the seller does have several negatives, about 23, but over 1000 positives. All the negatives seem to be for items not turning up. But fingers crossed it's ok.

Fleur, I hope it does show up. It looks like you. Isn't that funny how clothing looks like a particular person. My daughter always says this about my stuff. Looks like you mom. Usually involves embroidery somewhere. :)

That's a great jacket and I really hope that all goes well with the delivery for you.

Smutarella. I want some espadrillos like the black and white ones! Are they this season? And what colours do they come in?

I finally bought stuff!

I went flea marketing today.

I got this lovely belt. Granted it doesn't actually fit me, but I couldn't pass it up

IMG_0658-1.jpg

and a close up of the buckle.

IMG_0662-1.jpg

Then I lucked out and found stockings! Normally the flea markets just have rht ones....but today I got Fully Fashioned ones...

Two Pair of Saks 5th avenue ones...two pair of Ringless, all still sealed in original packaging, and then two mystery pairs (ie sans packaging) ..I paid 7 for all of them! And then I went to talk to one of my favorite vendors and showed her the stockings and she -really- wanted a pair, so I told her to give me a dollar or two, but she insisted on paying me 5 for one of the Saks pairs....so 5 pair of stockings for 2 dollars!

The rest of my deals arn't clothes related so I will go fill up Golden Era and Display case with them ;)

I haven't posted anything in this thread for ages as I've banned myself from Ebay! But I had to take a look a few days ago and stumbled across this cute little number (and actually won it!):

I won't actually get to see it or wear it for a few more months though, as I had it shipped to my parent's in the US while I'm in the Netherlands. Much cheaper that way!

PigeonToe, just adorable! I am tres jealous!

I won this last night, with a big 1 cent over the other bidder and at the very top of my bid amount! If it was anyone here, I kinda feel bad! :) It was the final 8 secs and I just typed in anything and I won it at the last penny. Meant to be I guess! It's three pins
