Thanks!@moehawk
Beautiful one!
I've a curved briar bulldog with rusticate bowl finish which I love. A college relic and my signature smokeVauen Basic 1500 and another Jean Claude.
I’ve been eyeing the Cavaliers style for a while myself, just haven’t found the right one yet, but that’s nice looking.I am really tempted by this cavalier style Churchwarden. What a relaxing porch smoker it would be.

I waited too long on pulling the trigger & lost out.I’ve been eyeing the Cavaliers style for a while myself, just haven’t found the right one yet, but that’s nice looking.
Nice looking piece. And, I do like the idea of a drain on a pipe.I waited too long on pulling the trigger & lost out.
I really like this one from the early part of the 20th century. Horn stem & cap, gold joint ring. In a private collection & not for sale.

nice cutty, a great old shape.Ace of Spades. Not just a Motörhead song. Also one of Comoy's lesser known brands made in France. I wasn't able to find out much more than that online. The closest I could come to a date was from one (with a different shape, but otherwise the same markiings) on a Comoy's pipe company history page. It said "Early French". Not much help.

The stem is vulcanite, and the pipe weighs only 21.5 grams. In great shape, unsmoked and almost like new. I just had to clean some oxidation off of the stem. I plan on breaking it in Sunday with a birthday bowl.
Would definitely help with combustion moisture of certain tobacco.Nice looking piece. And, I do like the idea of a drain on a pipe.
