Ooooh! I love the last one, the darkest red! That's the color I'm dreaming for, or close to it. Unfortunately I have to wear a more orangey red, but I wouldn't mind a red red. All I've got now is an awful shimmery plumish pink that is not vintage whatsoever. Uhg! But lipstick is so expensive, I just can't justify spending a hulk of money on vanity. :( Plus I have to shop gluten free makeup. Any of you use Red Apple Lipstick? They've got some dandy shades. Wish the prices were like....you know, free......so I could get some. {giggle}

This is "repotted" lippy! I love old cosmetics containers, but I hate not using them. So, I took one old Dusharme hair creme container (about 1 1/2 " diameter) and washed it out and then wiped down with alcohol.

Then I broke a lipstick out of its container, placed in container, and microwaved it. I set the microwave to 2 minutes, and then repeated until lipstick was melted.

At first it didn't seem like the lipstick would melt at all. And then it went down quickly. I didn't want the time to be too long at one go, because I was afraid the milk glass container might shatter.

That is amazing, Bluebird! Where did you find that particular container?
(I'll be back with a lippy photo; I just discovered my signature color! ;) )
