I think you look awsome with both first and second day hair. :)

Have you tried pin curls instead of pillow rollers? With pin curls it's easier to tweak the size by rolling over one or two fingers, plus they're nicer to sleep on than thicker (or double) rollers.

I tried doubling rollers and while it looks totally perfect, it's hell to sleep on. I do use large pin curls to maintain the set in the following nights but to create the set in the first place that just never seems to work unless I do standard tiny ones. Everything would just come out straight every time I try. I have no idea what I could be doing wrong. Now I'm wondering if I should go back to a regular roller set and just wrap loosely, or... I don't know.

Thanks, Queen and Tink. :) Going to try fewer pincurls tonight to see if I prefer that.

Antje, you always look so flawless!

I learned when doing pin curls and turning the pin curl roll, turn the pin curl roll until the pin curl is tight then clip with a pin curl clip or bobby pins. Also when doing pin curls never roll all of the pin curls in the same direction always roll each pin curl over and under all over the hair. For me when I set my hair this way I get better results and a tighter curl from each pin curl set.

ETA: Whoa.... That's a bit big... Yikes... imagine it smaller, and with less things that need to be tweaked. LOL

It is from indola, a european hairdressing brand. I mix 3/4 8.44x with 1/4 8.66x
my bangs have been pink so that is why there are some other collors on my bangs
I think the color is gorgeous.

It took me forever and three days to get my hair to a dark ash blonde. I even had to chop off quite a bit after I unsuccessfully tried to repair it. *sigh*
My hair grows so slow (took three years to gro from ear length to bottom of neck length). Now it's back up to just barely jaw length.
I'm thinking of adding in some red or brunette (my natural color is a 4) lowlights so I don't have to bleach the roots.

Awww. Thank you, Emer. All I see when I look at this picture is how bad my eyebrows are looking ( I had done them in the car sitting in my office parking lot. lol) and how even with the photo color adjusted via Instagram you can still see dark circles. Soooo I'm up early to fix the first and trying a new concealer to fix the second!
