I usually painstakingly measure out the sections when rolling. Yesterday, I was so tired, I just pinned however they came. Now I don't remember the pattern

They were a fluke!! But thank you Juliet! I think i rolled them round a mascara tube. Which helps when you have limp, fine hair like mine. :eusa_doh:

Gosh Juliet, they look smashing! Your hair looks in beautiful condition too. I'm hoping to grow my darned frnge to get a nice front roll like yours too! I don't think i've ever been a hair inspiration to anyone. I really struggle with mine, it's only because of the lovely ladies on here, that i have started to make some effort!

Where are you in Hungary? My brother lives in Budapest, near Margaret Island, on the street with all the antique shops and Embassy's, i can't rememer the name, as i don't send anything to him in the post as it never gets there!

Thank you Miss sofia! It's the very first time I managed anything even remotely resembling decent rolls, so I'm very proud of myself Well, you're a inspiration now! And I know this thread especially inspires a girl to drag herself to the mirror!
Actually, I have bangs, too. And I took a pretty big section for the front roll, too and blended the bangs in. It works best after a second-day set, really. I also sprayed the section somewhat before rolling. (Ugh - sticky )
I live in the eastern part of Hungary, in Debrecen. It's decidedly quieter around here in every meaning, and I tend to think, that people are a bit nicer on this side of the country.
Yeees, the international Hungarian post is nothing a European person is used to. Not the the national post is great, but international posting and these amazing customs? I often have to grit my teeth here

I did my hair with an iron rather than with a wet set. That's why I was able to do it so quickly

I washed my hair this morning. I let the back dry naturally & put big velcro rollers in the front. I was aiming for a Katherine Hepburn type do & I think it'll work out really well as an everyday do. I'm happy

Ginfizz I used my natural wave and a ceramic curling iron I think it is either 3/4 of an inch or 1 inch
