cupcake[/I][/B]... yes! do hunt yourself some wavol....i bought mine through a trade only supplier... just forgot to mention i wasn't a hairdresser... is that bad?
if you have no luck, let me know - i'll post some to you!;)

What they don't know can't hurt them ;)
The website says there is a WA supplier so once my face has reduced back to normal size (had my wisdom teeth removed this morning - ow!) I'll pay them a visit.

I just ordered some hair rollers off ebay so the idea of trying rollers and a setting lotion instead of my natural curls is quite exciting (and daunting)

my thoughts EXACTLY cupcake ...

now shush with the "daunted", doll ;) ... its too easy - wavol make a ready to go pink version - a litre is only $11!!!... pour it in a spray bottle (i added a little rose water for scent too) and away you go!... if i can do it...

and :( ouch! to your wisdoms being pulled... i wish you a quick recovery...

I thought you guys might get a kick out of this 'twisted' take on Victory Rolls that I did. I had received this paint wheel from Bitchslap cosmetics and wanted to do a makeup look but since makeup isnt my 'thing', I did a hair tutorial and slapped (pun intended) a crazy makeup look onto the end.

I had a purple and green flower on w/ it but left it off for the pictures cuz I'm a dingaling. :D

Dumb Comment of the day:

Today someone posted the following comment on my youtube product review for Hot Sticks:

'Ahhhhh. Your'e brushing it out! Brushing causes frizz!'

????

I thought this comment was odd because 1) There was absolutely no frizzing by the end of the video and 2) brushing out is the key to almost every vintage style. lol

I guess this shouldnt have been on this thread but I didnt feel like digging up the hot sticks one. :)

Analiebe your hair turned out wonderfully. :eusa_clap

Question for all who know, I have been wanting wave clips for quite some time. Where can I find them? I will need a lot as I have an abnormal amount of hair. And do they make modern ones? Not that I care if they aren't modern but like I said there is a lot of hair on my head and it had a tendency to break things. I would feel really awful if I broke vintage clips, and not so much if they were new.

thank you lovely lady.... i got mine (vintage) from evilbay - as they're metal fragility isn't an issue so i wouldn't be worried about breaking them... mine were a great price but i'd been looking for a while as they're often rather pricey... i'm pretty sure you can buy them new but maybe one of the usa gals can point you in the right direction there...

My friends are taking me out tonight to a cocktail party here is what I am doing with my hair, it's early but it's easier for me to just do my hair for the entire day then re-do it mid day

Finally I have something worthy of posting in here that's not my usual go-to set! This is the first time I ventured out of the house in actual rolls. We went to our small-town Harvest Festival and got the usual number of funny stares, but a good amount of tremendously positive feedback, from gals and guys alike.

I followed the "Snood Style 2" (page 66/67) from Vintage Hairstyling, 2nd Edition, of course minus the snood ;)
