so a package filled with vintage goody wave clips arrived today... and i finally got a chance to pick up a bottle of blondies recommendation of the australian setting lotion wavol (a company that began in australia in the 40s)... anyhoo, a day off from work has given me an opportunity to give both the lotion & the clips a trial run & i now sit here with my fingers crossed for a good result.... wish me luck girls!

Is that what those clips are for?! I never knew! My hairstylist always just used them to keep my hair in place when she was cutting! I think my grandmother has a whole box of them, unused. I may have to do some pilfering! lol

I based today's hair off of one of the pictures from the "Everday Vintage Women" thread.

I think my version turned out pretty okay!

I'm not totally satisfied with the pomp, so I may play around with it some more before I venture out.
