Miss Tuppence, I love the satin jammies! Very pretty!

Finally made some jeans :D I am pretty happy with how they turned out and how simple the pattern is.

Despite the less than attractive (I think) depiction on the model, I think the jumpsuit version has nice lines, and potential for vintage flair.I like the front zipper, and I've cut them out of gray twill with black and white polka dot lining.

Yes, it's Simplicity 2654. I didn't think the pattern was bad at all, they came together pretty quick.

I added tutus and bows to store bought leggings for a dear friend who is getting ready for their second child, but first girl! By the way, the bows go on the butt, will be too cute with the diaper butt!

Hmm I got that comment on them when I posted a picture on facebook. lol
I was a high school girl in the 70's, and had a favorite pair of high waisted wide legged jeans,(cuffed, even!) so if you're getting that comment its not incorrect. I loved the 70's does 40's clothes that were around back then.

Last night I refashioned a vintage dress (that could have passed for a nightie) into a blouse. This was my first time working with a sheer fabric. To the expert eye I'm sure it needs much improvement, but I am rather proud that it turned out to be wearable :)

Excuse the PJ pants, I was a bit tired.

Apologies for the link - this isn't shameless self-promotion, honestly! - it's just that for reasons best known to itself my computer is telling me that I don't have administrative access to upload an image from my computer and am I logged in as somebody else?
(Noooo I'm Kishtu... honestly...)

Too cold right now for me to wear most of the things I've made for me but behold the Small in his finest dungarees.

Realized that I made two pairs of jeans just in time for the mid 80 degree weather, so I made some shorts. I like that they are long and again the high waist is nice. :D I like this pattern it's pretty easy to work from.

^Now I like those- Very trim!
I'm not keen on wearing short shorts myself- I always feel like I'm all legs! I have fairly long and very skinny legs:(
The shorts my mum make for me come just above the knee, which I like, though I am planning on going a little shorter this year:eeek: with a new 40's pattern I have.

My most recent project, with added double rhombus pockets
018-2.jpg

The fabric was my great great aunt's, she never did anything with it and wouldn't let her daughter do anything with it, my great aunt figured she was too old for it now so handed it off to me :D

I'm so in love with this skirt right now.
