Your blue skirt is really pretty - I especially love how well it looks with that adorable peasant blouse!

Here's my latest - a Valentine frock inspired by a dress worn by Ginger Rogers in Carefree.

I didn't really 'make' this. I bought a 'design your own'-calendar for 2012 and then took a signed photo of Myrna Loy I found on the net and added '2012' and some filters etc to make it all blend together.

Yesterday a colleague squinted at it and said: 'Looks like you.' Yeah, I wish, but at least had the same hair! :)

I just can't wait for the post to arrive.I won an online auction for a 1946 womans magazine with the original patterns intact and found in an op-shop some lovely burgundy matte crepe and a matching zipper.
Fabric and zipper $2.50 NZ dollars(about $1 U.S) and magazine $20 including postage NZD($9 U.S. aproximately).Chance to make a 'real' 1940s daydress...priceless:)
