You all have been making some stupendous stuff!
I put together this boudoir set of tap panties and a ruffled cap sleeve bed jacket. This was a little day project.

i would love to have something like this for bed, its sooo cute!

thanks everyone, it the second dress iv made and the first one iv had to line- man that was hard.:eusa_doh:

As for the pattern- i found a pattern maker on etsy to draft the pattern to my size. I had to change it a bit but over all im happy and think it was worth the money once i figure the bust out some more, just want it to be perfect and still need to make a matching little jacket with it.

Here's my new skirt! My pattern is a 26in waist, so the grading was a major undertaking but I'm thrilled with the results.

Thanks for the compliments everyone!
BoPeep, I only had a small remnant of that black brocade and was sitting on it for ages not knowing what to do with it. It's only when I finished the dress that I realised it would be perfect for a bolero jacket and now I'm glad I didn't use it to cover a handbag or something.
Lady Day, that outfit is too cute! Love your website as well!

All you ladies make such amazing clothes it's taken me a while to get the courage together to show something I created... Unfortunately I am without camera for the moment so apologies for the terrible webcam images.

This is a dress I made to wear to a wedding with a close up of the fabric:

Here's the same dress with the bolero I made to wear with it (and close up of fabric again) - I didn't make the belt:

I've been wearing the blue "Swirl-a- like" dress so much I'm making more!

Here I have the pockets and bodice cut out and the pockets edged
with binding for the red one.
That's just a picture of a pattern, for inspiration.

Here's the gold one, similar India print cotton, equally comfy as the blue one.

These are fun to make and even better to wear.

Lady Day- mind if i ask what kind of fabric or the name of the fabric you used for the black part? I like the sheer and black dots.

Its a dotted Swiss. Well, not a *real* dotted Swiss, but the real stuff is pretty pricey, so there are plenty of knock offs. Its all cotton.

olive bleu, I used two different patterns. The tap panties are from a repro I sell, and the bodice of the bed jacket is from a nightgown pattern I own.

Thanks, Crwrit, Foofoogal and Tanuki (and anyone I missed!) Looks like those of use with resin dolls are everywhere these days!

If I get a little time to myself, I have the Folkwear 1930's dress and yards and yards of of black rayon with crimson bamboo patterns that I think would rock it.

Cute, Zendy. I see that your dresses are for sale. I'm curious to know if you've sold any yet? I like making them and wearing them but hadn't really thought of trying to sell them. We are making pretty much the same size dresses!

Crwritt: I've sold 2 since February, but then again I haven't kept a steady stock. This one I'm dying to keep though!

Land-O-LakesGal:Thanks, I did!
