My second go at the Decades of Style Kitchenette PJ's. The top is cotton blend, the bottoms are cross dyed linen. I altered the upper back a little, haven't put a button on yet, but I like it. I sewed up the pants section further up, so there's less bunching, I used the style detail to create concealed pockets, and skipped the lower band on the pants, adding a side slit.
I also attached the left sash to the edge of the fabric the same way as the right sash. This way the edge of the back doesn't curl under so you can't reach it.
I'm thinking they are presentable enough to wear dancing.

a base for a fascinator- type hat.www.threadsmagazine.com /item/17474/how-to-make-a-hat-ba seIt was pretty easy
and I like the results.

Thanks for the link, crwritt. Of late, I've actually started to wear all the hats I've been collecting! lol Love the idea of making one to match my outfit!

My third sewing project from a vintage pattern! I used a 1950s jumper dress pattern, changing the neckline from V to sweetheart. I'll definitely use this pattern again, but next time I'll do the Full Bust Adjustment pattern alterations.
