So lovely LD, as always.

Finally, I have something to post for a change. Aweful pics of me in my new grey woolen blend 30s style trousers - made from Lauren's Wearing History pattern. The grey is darker than it appears and has a charcoal fleck through it.

Because these are for formal (for work) I made them without the belt loops and belt and changed the tucks at the front to darts. Tucks make me took too pear shaped.

But yes, I love them, they sit well, drape nicely and were easy to make. Making the jeans now from light-weight denim :)

Woo Hoo I made something other than a tutu (not that those aren't fun, but I can't wear them lol) This is Simplicity 3780.

Hi guys
Here is my latest creation, its the 3rd Ive made, and Im getting better and better!
Doesnt my friend Megan look super cute? She has been studying youtube to get her victory rolls - she reckons Ive inspired her to go vintage - I think she was a closet vintage girl all along.. the look certainly suits her!

Lovley pants Swinggal. I may try changing the tucks ti darts also as I have that same pattern and alos have shosen to make the pants in a grey rayon and wool blend.

Lovley dress Shebear 74. I have that pattern I think.

Claireg- I love the color combo you used on that dress. It is a very flattering fit also.

Thanks guys. nice to actually be able to POST something here ;) Putting the darts in was no drama DPD. Same width an everything. Just makes them sit flatter for me :) My bum is wide enough as it is, don't need the front looking the same...hahah.

Swinggal I love those pants! I have some patterns, but haven't tried making any of them. Summer's in FL, the last thing your thinking of is the warmer clothes. lol
