It's a problem that I'm working on. I'm also thinking about starting a thread about bandanas affecting hat size.

That is called the Toby Keith effect. I have an old straw western that the sweatband gave up on. I wear a bandana head band to catch the sweat then put the gutted straw brim on over it. I don't crush my brims like Toby because I'm just not that cool!
