I brought this 100 from the grand daughter of the previous owner. It was not a rich estate so the hat was sold to settle expenses. I feel I have taken on more than the owner ship of a hat I am now the custodian and if for some now unforeseen reason I ever turn the hat over It will be to someone would will take owner ship of the hats history with reverence.

I read this just today and love it. We are all, in fact, custodians. :eusa_clap :eusa_clap :eusa_clap

Bob, it seems like all these Clear Beaver 100's have a story behind them. I've been dying just to touch one, but have been the bridesmaid in countless ebay auctions.

My Top 10 is now also my Bottom 10...actually, a "Baker's 10" of 11. With the girlfriend moving in, anything that won't hang on my two hat-racks has got to go. I've narrowed it down to these: Borso, Playboy, Fed IV, Borso, Hanover Square, Knox Twenty, Borso, Open Road, Stetson Royal, Panama, Knox Twenty. Why can't I let go of one more?

Wow - this is a tough crowd.

I figured at least 1-2 of you would demand that Robert post up his top ten.

Robert is among those who may have too many good ones for such a limiting number as 10 ;)

I'd say I like the hats you own (and I know that I would), but I don't even know what you own anymore. You are to hats what Larry King is to wives. :p

I'm indecisive by nature. I'd have to come up with some criteria to judge them too. How about top 10 brown hats or Westerns or Straws or Fuzzies? Most unusual? Domestic or Imported?

What about Dinerman?
