Thanks gents. Glad you like it.

It's about a size 36-37. It's not really long (28.5" down the back), it's just that the arms are a bit shorter than normal. I had them shortened very slightly, but the fabric's still there. They were always short, max around 23" from the shoulder.

It does look long, though, I agree. All down to the cut.
Oh no I have never seen anything too small for me
how much is it?

I am once again humbly seeking the FL elder's advice:

Picked up this sports coat:

The good:
Donegal style tweed, red flecks
Patch pockets
Nice lapels
Shoulder fit is spot on
A bit short, but fine for a 1930s look imho.
Sleeves have ample material for lengthening.
Chest fit feels right.

The bad: Below the chest it flares out in an unsightly way. The jacket was obviously intended for someone larger around the waist/hips.

My question is: Can this jacket be saved by taking in the side/center seams? It has no vents.

Since it does flare it is possible to have it straightened out like you said, the side seam or center seam

A 1930s (?) Two-Tone Tweed Hollywood jacket. Solidly a size 35. Unsurprising for teenager style. This is perfect for slightly colder early spring and late autumn days.
