I think the top ones, because the pinups would be covered most of the time... then when you get the inevitable compliment, you can raise up the pant leg to show the rest of the art. Instant conversation piece. No comment on the Japanese ladies, you're the expert there.

What pants?

Do you know what, about 5 years ago in a recycled kimono shop in Kyoto I found some brown deer skin hakama that were made for riding when hunting (kinda work like cowboys chaps). They pre-dated the war, and had a great patina, but were way too small for me. That sort of thing would be ideal!

Life with a sewing machine, and know how to use it. (The letters came from a Waterloo swim Team Coat which I used the lining of to make some squadron hat ear flaps from) There is a skill, nay, a true ART to Recycling clothes for sure!

This Is Just your basic 80s Cheap-O Starter Jacket and cost 59.99 at the surplus, not the best leather..I had a nice vintage one and gave it to a cousin of mine when he was a kid, I intend to give this one the works.

Its easy to overdo it with studs and Lame patches, So many nice Quality Biker Jackets were ruined by Idiot P U N K kids with 6 foot Mohawks.

The real trick is to go Totally custom, in a sense that even some of the patches and paint was hand made and one of a kind.

Taking ones time is what will add the right pieces of course. I should post some of my bags and knapsacks too, Those count I believe. :D

^ awesome work D-Diver, great proportion to the jacket's back

@Big J
leather hakama, so badass!!!

This is my integral small accessory to my jacket, leather zip puller with eyelet to match the ventilation points of the jacket, and also to match the chest zipper pull but in leather, taking all elements and bind them together I love it :D
The management lady actually let me to bring it home today since they know me and my family, but it has not been calculated (since the owner is still in Canada until next Monday) and has not been paid for... so I declined...I'm a fool...:p I should have brought it home.

My 1972 Zippo that lives in the upper arm pocket on my Buzz L2-A. It seems appropriate - even though I don't smoke!
I just love the design cut into the nickel finish of the brass. Nice "Thud" too. And a Minuteman, I suspect!

I carry one at all times, too, though I've really nothing to put on fire. Excellent Zippo, Stand By!

Thanks Monitor.
I know, I've only tried smoking one cigarette and that was given to me by my grandmother when I was around 6 (around 1972/73). Everyone smoked in those days - James Bond, even the puppets on Thunderbirds between rescue missions! My dad every now and again … and there was my gran one day, smoking in the kitchen as she looked out of the window. I walked up and said innocently "Gran? What's it like to smoke?"
She took a drag - and handed me the cigarette and said "Here. Try that." ! I thought Wow! I'm smoking with my gran! Cooool! I felt sooo grown up. The thing felt so big in my fingers - like a big fat cigar to me. And I just took a big, massive drag …
And my lungs immediately exploded like I'd just breathed in napalm! I was coughing and gagging, hoping to hurl and was just dying … my dad rushed in and tipped me upside down into the kitchen sink 'cos he thought I wear about to hurl as well - and the sink was made of stainless steel, so it really amplified my coughing and hacking and it was sooo loud!
And so I immediately went from Joe Cool - to being upside down and utterly humiliated in a few mere seconds.
I never tried one again.

I can't recommend it as aversion therapy for others, but it sure as hell worked for me!

Here's one of my favorite old Cal LAPD jackets. I didn't have the heart to change anything and left it as the original owner kept it out of honor for his service. Best part, he actually sewed a flannel shirt directly into the jacket to replace the worn out liner... It has too much character to change. :)

Ha!Ha!Ha!
Oh yes, it was regular as she was a straight-laced lady. Gin was her only other poison. That's a funny thought though - it'd never occurred to me in all these years! LOL!
No, John Player Specials. Bleeaah.
But lighters are cool though! I love the feel, the sound as they click, the smell of Zippo fluid - and vintage designs on them… ah well.

Nick, it's a little late to start watching on AMC...
I'd recommend watching all 8 years starting at the beginning on Netflix!

Exactly the same sensation I got whenever I tried one. Yeah, I'm a slow learner so it took me three attempts to realize it's not meant to be. Though, that's what I said for whiskey too and that really didn't turn out all that well... Even though I still can't decide what's worse, the way it tastes or the headache the morning after. I guess there's got to be some good to it somewhere in between but for whatever odd reason I can't seem to remember that all too well.

Not everyone's like that, though... Some people can just start smoking no trouble at all.

Ksozay, that one's a killer! What's that on the pin, above the army patch? Below the word I can make out, of course. :D

Nice to see an American jacket without the small pocket on the front. :)

But it's odd that, while I find the stink of cigarettes and weed completely awful, I love the waft of a good cigar as its smoker passes by!
And some single malt whiskey yes, but bourbon … oh no. It's so strange how tastes can be.

Inbox cleared. Thanks!

And I was too afraid to ask what was under that word ….!

I find the smell of a good Islay whisky irresistible.
